Dr. Wael Zakkour

Dr. Wael Zakkour is a prosthodontist, with special training & skill in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry & full mouth rehabilitations, including dentures, crowns & TMJ problems. A prosthodontist completes three years of additional training in an ADA accredited post-doctoral program after earning a dental degree.

Dr. Zakkour always keeps up with the latest scientific & technological advances, he is an active member in the American Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontics & many national dental associations. He also participates in various international conferences.

Dr. Zakkour completed his undergraduate studies at Saint Joseph University of Beirut, where he received his DDS degree. He then pursued his specialty in prosthodontics with an emphasis in dental implants at Louisiana State University, where he completed his Master of Science in Dentistry & his Certificate in Prosthodontics.

This was my first visit and, although I was not looking forward to it, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like Dr. Aniqa Zaheer and her staff. I say this because I was a patient of Dr. Warwick's for the better part of 30 years and resisted the change for as long as I could. I already have an appointment to return for some needed dental work but I feel confident I've landed in good hands with Dr. Zaheer.

We had given up hope of finding a good dentist after moving here 4 years ago, and being disappointed at a number of dental offices. With Covid, the challenge became another issue, with Dental clinics not having any appointments available for several months. Then along came a brochure in the mail for Thomson Drive Dental. When I called, to my amazement, Someone actually answered the phone. No phone tree AND no long wait! Theresa was GREAT! she not only answered my questions, she made an appointment for my husband and I to be seen on the same day in 2 weeks! I was not transferred to multiple people to accomplish my goal. Then the day of our appointment came, from the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. Our care was extraordinary. Explanations of everything being done were clear and accurate with pictures, they had taken, so we could see what they were talking about. Dr. Zaheer did a thorough job of explaining what the priorities were for future care. Next we sat with Amber, who helped us understand their in-office Dental plan. Being retired, without dental insurance, we went in concerned that our care would be cost prohibitive, but we left knowing this was going to be very manageable. Every single person deserves 5 stars next to their name, each one went above and beyond any expectation we had going in. P.S. The background music was even better than any Dentist office we've ever been in! Oldies from our High School days :) Nope....Just doesn't get much better!

Had a deep cleaning done. First time for this procedure. Great treatment for gum disease. Susan was very professional and did an awesome job. She made me feel very comfortable and easy going thru the procedure. Even got to listen to some great music .Will make a big difference in the future of my teeth and rid my body of harmful bacteria being absorbed in my system . Thanks again and would recommend to anyone.

I had been going to this office since I was 5, Dr Warwick was the only dentist I've known for 33 years. When Thomson Drive Dental took over I didn't know what to expect. The dentist there was cool, said he was from California originally. My hygienist Crystal was awesome! She was very knowledgeable and professional. So, I guess I'm staying put. Ha-ha
